Overview

EYVA is looking for an experienced Finance Manager with an add on office admin responsibility, who will be managing important financial functions, produce financial reports, manage investment activities and create strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the company. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced tech work environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage financial operations of the company, including Accounting, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, Invoicing & collections, Preparation of financial statements, Compliance (Auditor liaising, taxation filings, accounts closure & statutory filings), Benefits administration (reimbursements & insurance) etc.
  • Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organisation financial documents.
  • Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organisation.
  • Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies.
  • Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
  • Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimise cost and maximise operational profit.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organisation.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking and reports.
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organisation.
  • Complete adherence to all statutory and legal requirements including day-to-day financial management, external filings and reporting.
  • Reviewing tax forms and making recommendations for adjustments if necessary.
  • Office administration.

Who we're looking for:

  • M.Com./B.Com. or related degree in finance (essential).
  • Proven work experience of 4-7 years as a Finance Officer/Manager or similar role.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Sound knowledge of Taxation, IT, GST, PT and local taxes.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial planning software.
  • Has the credibility, authority and interpersonal skills to work in partnership with Leadership team members.
  • High attention to detail and Inquisitive and proactive personality.
  • Dedicated and committed to achieving all goals and objectives in both an autonomous and team environment.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
